I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Roberto Dell'Anno, Director of CELPE and Head of LaBETI, Department of Economics and Statistics, University of Salerno, Italy, for being our esteemed guest at the 7th International Conference on Economics and Social Sciences! It was an honour to have you as my co-chair for the Mini Track on Statistical Methods and Data Science in Applied Economics.

I am proud to highlight the ongoing partnership between the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and the University of Salerno, exemplified through our collaborative research and co-authored articles. Our co-moderation of the "Statistical Methods and Data Science in Applied Economics" mini-track at ICESS over the past three years showcases the strength of our academic alliance.

This collaboration is further strengthened by our involvement in the newly awarded Horizon project, "International Network for Comparative Socioeconomic Knowledge and Analysis of Informal Activities and Policies for Their Formalization in the European Union and Latin America (INSEAI-2024)," where the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and the University of Salerno are part of a consortium of 27 entities, coordinated by the University of Madrid.

Thank you once again, prof.Roberto Dell'Anno, for your invaluable contribution and continued partnership.
